1970 Ford Thunderbird Coupe Landau 85k Original Miles in San Jose, CA

Thank you for visiting this rare Bird I've been restoring for 4 years. I'm the second owner as the original owner passed due to cancer and was stored in Belvedere, CA. This was an special order car and it was built in Los Angeles, CA and remained in California. She has been garaged since new and also garaged on my watch. I've tried to list the high lights below.The color is Factory Metallic Ginger with the 429 motor--all matching numbers. She had a repaint about 15 years ago--somewhere in Marin, CA. The wheels and tires are fairly new and they're 18 x 8 all around. The mileage is 85,680 and has "not" turned over. This was stored while the original owner was ill for 8 years. I obtained it in 2011 and have literally gone through nearly every area of this car, front to back. I have roughly $20k in just parts and labor. I'm unable to continue the vision as I'm now caring for my crippled mother--has moved in. It's all good. This Bird has been shown many times and is a party of 1. There are no others. There is a library of receipts, original owners manual, original keys, original color code document and original parts documentation. Rare, two year body style 70-71, referred to as the Beak Years. All Factory, numbers match, never lowered, no interior mods, original color and has current registration. Condition: She has a few blemishes and needs a few exterior/interior pieces, attention; wiring on the passenger auto window is intermittent, a few dash cracks and needs new wood grain tape on the steering wheel--easy to fix. The driver side, lower rear quarter panel has a small rust patch under the paint, unnoticeable unless up-close. She runs, starts at all times and shows very strong. Extremely reliable Iron Sled.
