AVP - Cloud/Big Data/Mobile Solution Sales - Full Time in San Jose, CA

After roughly twenty four months of technology spending freezes, things are changing... fast! My long-time client focuses on ISV's and other Techno-Centric Enterprises, and they are witnessing an enormous ground swell of interest in new project deployments, replatforming of legacy apps, and a scramble to capture the huge benefits of employing the technology advantages offered by Big Data/Cloud/Mobility/BI & Analytics subjects. In addition to these exciting areas of investment opportunities, is a new level of commitment to quality, scalability ease of use and simply offering intuitive solutions is causing them to scramble to get solid sales professionals in place who "get it" and have a proven record of success but are ready for the next step up in their careers. Their focus on Big Data/Cloud/Mobility/BI & Analytics requires we find at least two highly capable sales professionals to drive the revenue that's out there. They have already identified a number of CTO/VP of Engineering types - and the right person for this role will know others as well - who are eager to discuss the possibilities that will stem from thoughtful deployment of services, tools and technologies in the Big Data/Cloud area. They see huge opportunities with prospects seeking solid ROI from investments in Big Data/Cloud/BI Analytics. For example, companies like Disney have been quoted saying that they estimate that each year, they are now challenged to capture, analyze and report on a wide variety of critical data trends that would eclipse the initial 80 years of corporate data capture and investigation requirements. For Media, Finance, Insurance, Information Services organizations, these data sets are growing exponentially, and are too unstructured to consider using traditional relational database tools. Importantly, with the advent of proprietary and non-proprietary technologies like Hadoop, MapReduce and other open-source tools that distribute the work across many servers, the emerging new strategy is to utilize a public or private cloud - making it possible to attack information requirements that formerly were not possible. In using these tools, the analysis of huge amounts of data became not only possible, but available at a speed and cost that was never before possible. But... somebody has to get out there and sell this idea! Is that you? My client has a highly-skilled Labs organization in India and the US and a proven track record of working with clients to understand data challenges and assess how new analytics techniques and technologies best fit. In short, they work with innovative companies to create groundbreaking solutions - it's called "ideation" and it's as exciting as anything can be. We need to fill these Big Data/Cloud Sales Exec positions in the 4th quarter! Bottom line is that we are looking for a few great OPD Sales Executives (Individual performer experienced at the Director or VP level). More specifically our requirements are for senior "Solution Oriented" services Sales Executives who have a background in representing Consulting Services to Enterprise, ISV, SaaS providers (finance, banking, information services), addressing this very exciting application and network management area. A background and track record of success in enterprise open-source Big Data/Cloud/Data warehousing, or related package ISV sales is a must. Solid company (not 1099) employment continuity and a geographically rich rolodex is a real plus. Positions are available in New York Metro Area, San Jose and the DC area. We are looking for energetic, positive and appealing professionals who can build strong and trusting relationships with Engineering and Business Executives in Enterprise Class ISV and Techno-Centric organizations.
